Our Stories

Students learn tips for handling exam stress

Year 6 students attended a workshop with Mr Aylward on Tuesday, 18 March, called ‘5 Top Tips for Handling Test Stress’. 
The workshop gave the students a taste of the Year 7 PSHE Wellbeing curriculum.

The Planets fuses music, space and sustainability

Students in Years 1, 3 and 5 enjoyed a sound and light spectacular with an important message as music teachers Mr Roe, Ms Potin, Mr Hastings, Mrs Baggio and Ms Dimitriu gave a performance of Holst’s The Planets.

Accolades for Jonk Fuerscher participants

Unyson Secondary students competed in the National Jonk Fuerscher Science Contest on 14 and 15 March, placing the school fourth out of 30 schools for the number of participants.

Students get creative on World Book Day

Year 7 started their World Book Day celebration with a book-themed fancy dress competition. There were several eye-catching costumes including Violet Baudelaire from A Series of Unfortunate Events.
