Data Protection Statement
In order to fulfill our educational, administrative, and pastoral obligations, Unison High School collects and processes personal data about students and their families. This data is kept confidential and will be stored for the duration of the current school year, for as long as the student is enrolled, or as required by legal regulations.
Who receives this data
The provision of this data is necessary to fulfill our mutual agreement to provide an education and is required for the performance of this contract. Unison High School does not share data with third parties except with service providers (e.g., external psychological/educational specialists, debt collection agencies) unless disclosure is required by local authorities or necessary for admission to other schools or universities.
Processing of data outside the EU on behalf of the school, as data controller, will only take place after a risk assessment has been conducted, and appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission) have been implemented. Where necessary, the school will seek parental consent.
Your rights
Students and families have the right to access and correct their personal data. In cases where data access requests involve a large volume of information, the school may, in accordance with applicable laws, ask data subjects to specify the information or processing activities to which the request pertains.
In certain situations and subject to legal conditions, students and families have the right to object to the processing of their data, request limitations, or ask for the erasure or portability of their data. When such requests are made, the school will first assess whether they meet applicable criteria and inform the data subjects of the status of their request.
